On-demand child care centers where families — not just kids — actually thrive.
Brella is child care reinvented for how families really live: drop in by the hour, book in advance, open early and late. A Playa Vista flagship that had to reassure anxious parents and delight the kids in the same breath.

The name gives you the idea in one word: an umbrella, shelter, cover. The identity is built from a friendly geometric sans, a navy-coral-lilac palette, and a cast of illustrated characters — parents, kids, plants, pets — living under that canopy.

A safe, welcoming place where families thrive.
The illustration system becomes architecture. Hand-painted murals wrap the walls in the same characters and flora; deep-blue archways frame reading nooks; spherical lamps float overhead like a gentle sky. Every corner was designed to be seen from a child's height.

Brand, space, and illustration built as one thing, not three. The payoff: a place kids ask to go back to, and parents trust on sight — child care that finally looks as caring as it is.
